Working Visit to Educational Institutions in Pakistan

A delegation of IBU officials headed by Rector had a working visit to Pakistan with an aim of collaboration establishment and presentation of University programs in international colleges.

Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Padem, Prof. Dr. Abdulrezak Memon, Head of the Department of Genetics and Bioingeneering and Prof. Dr. Azamat Akbarov, Head of the English Department, were hosted in Islamabad by Rector of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Prof .Dr.  Muhammad Asghar. NUST is one of the best academic institutions in Asia and IBU representatives used the opportunity to present our university and find the points of mutual interest.

During the visit, delegation met with officials of the leading educating institutions in Pakistan, discussing the possibilities of cooperation where the next step is signing contract with NUST, Quaid-i-Azam University, Riphah International University and PMAS Arid Rawalpindi University.

University representatives also visited 8 Pakturk international schools, where they were hosted by Director Mehmet Necmettin Durmus. They held the presentation of our University what caused a very positive feedback of students, who were mostly interested in technical departments existing on IBU. Presentations were held in a few public schools, as well.

Every year around 20,000 Pakistani students go abroad in their search for higher education and that is a strong argument to collaborate with educating institutions of this country. Also, every day the country of Pakistan is investing more in education and research, what encouraged our delegation to search for the ways of common interest.

The visit of International Burch University officials was tracked by local web and print media.
