Prof.Dr. Mirjana Mavrak from Faculty of Philosophy of University in Sarajevo (UNSA) held practical workshop aimed for academic staff and students of master and doctoral studies
Continuing Professsional Development (CPD) series of lectures of Office for Scientific Research and International Relations continued with yesterdays very informational and interactive workshop on how to create an efficient syllabus. Prof. Dr. Mirjana Mavrak explained quality of structure and quality of process in terms of efficiency and learning outcomes of a syllabus.
Prof.Dr. Mavrak under the few headlines summarized the most important steps creating effective syllabus and measures that are essential for the success and good feedback. She explained that the most of the responsibility lies on the lecturers so it is highly important for them to have a good plan, schedule and realistic goals.
The workshop ended with division of approaches in creating syllabus, as instructor centered and the free approach to students need, and question and discussion part, where students and staff used their opportunity to share their experiences and get new information.
Prof. Dr. Mavrak got an appreciation letter and a present on behalf of the University, handed by Dean of Faculty of Education, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Melih Karakuzu.
