Dr. Hj. Azmi Bin Hj. Harun, Diector of the Alumni and Career Center of International Islamic University of Malaysia visited International Burch University today, with an aim of discussion about collaboration.
Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Padem University Rector welcomed the honorable guest in his office, together with Prof. Dr. Teoman Duman Vice Rector for International Relations, Assist. Prof. Dr. Uğur Ergün and Assist. Prof. Dr. Edin Smajić.
Mr. Azmi comes from the university with a respectable tradition of 29 years of existence and 56,000 alumni up today. Just for the record, around 300 alumni are from Bosnia and Herzegovina and many of them have successful careers.
His mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina was to get in touch with Mr. Amar Bukvić, BBI Director and alumni of International Islamic University of Malaysia, as a part of his project of documentary film about the success of their alumni around the world.
The conversation led in the direction of possible cooperation of universities, since both institutions are navigating in the same direction, the way of education of next generations.
Many prepositions were mentioned from both sides, including students and academic staff exchange, organization of conferences and possible internship for students. Mr. Azmi thanked everyone for the kind welcome and invited International Burch University staff to visit Kuala Lumpur.
