Memorandum of Cooperation previously signed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) has got its certificate in the form of a modern equipped classroom, where students will be trained in accordance with the market needs.
On February 28th, at the Faculty of Economics of International Burch University, SASE classroom, which will provide students with professional education in the field of market, capital and money, was opened in the presence of numerous guests. Rector, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Padem, Director of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE), Dr. Tarik Kurbegović, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Ali Göksu, cutting the red ribbon made official the completion and submission of the classroom to use.
Rector, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Padem expressed satisfaction of cooperation achieved and thanked SASE, noting that the quality of education in the world increases and one of the most important aspects of it is practical work. In this regard, newly opened classroom and the equipment will play a major role in achieving the goals, which is theoretical and practical training of students and academic staff.
SASE Director, Dr. Tarik Kurbegović, in this occasion stressed his pleasure of signing the Memorandum of Cooperation and its implementation to specific projects. Speaking of the classroom, he pointed out that it is a unique space in Bosnia and Herzegovina when it comes to application of the theory to practice, and that students will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge through with Faculty jointly designed elective course "Capital Market", which will be part of the regular curriculum.
At the end of the ceremony SASE and Dr. Tarik Kurbegović were awarded an Appreciation letters for contribution to education development and cooperation.
