Students from 4 universities participated with 45 research papers.
On March 7th, the 1st Annual International Student Symposium took place at our University. There were presented 45 papers of students from 4 different faculties, Burch University, University of Sarajevo, Banja Luka University, and Yalova University.
At the opening ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Padem said that this is the first time to organize symposium exclusively for students and that this type of gathering will become a tradition. Project coordinator, Assoc Prof. Dr. Azamat Akbarov stressed that the University is ready to assist in the professional development of students. He also said that this was an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into the progress of students in the areas of their studies.
The symposium was held in a very dynamic environment, with the participation of audience through questions and comments. At the end of the 1st Annual International Student Symposium Certificates of Participation was awarded to students who have presented their works, and three best papers, according to academic programs at Burch University were announced and awarded.
Student Symposium was organized in cooperation with British Council, who provided free annual subscription on “UK Magazine” to all field first place winners, and the representative of the British Council held short presentation of their latest activities at the end.
