Another successful cooperation of Bosnian and Croatian scientists and success

Scientists of International Burch University have made significant contributions to the publication of both books.


The promotion of the book "Forensic DNA Analysis", by authors and editors Prof. Dr. Dragan Primorac and Prof. Dr. Moses Schanfield, edition for Croatia and the region, was held on Tuesday, 20 December 2016, at 13:00 in the great hall of School Books.

Editors of the Croatian edition of the book are Prof. Dr. Dragan Primorac, president of the Committee for International Relations of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the president of the Governing Council of the Hospital of St. Katarina, a professor at Penn State University and New Haven, USA, and at universities in Split, Osijek and Rijeka, and Prof. Dr. Damir Marjanović, Rector of International Burch University, BiH, professor at University of Sarajevo and research associate of the Institute of Anthropology.

The book was presented by Branko Hrvatin, president of the Croatian Supreme Court, Vlaho Orepić, Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Croatian, academician Pavao Rudan, secretary general of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences, Prof. Dr. Davor Derenčinović, vice-dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, vice-president of the Academy of Croatian Legal Sciences, a member of the State Attorneys Council and the Prof. Dr. Saša Missoni, Director of the Institute of Anthropology.

Scientists of International Burch University have made significant contributions to the publication of both books. In fact, in the original work in English, Professor Marjanović was engaged as a co-author of three chapters, while in the regional edition with Professor Primorac, who is also chief editor of the translation. In addition to the publication of the translation of BiH, assistants of the Department of Genetics and Bioengineering from International Burch University, Masters Adna Ašić, Larisa Bešić and Elma Ferić, Imer Muhović, as well as Prof. Dr. Belma Kalamujić with the Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and Prof. Dr. Lejla Mulahasanović participated in the translation. It is important to note that the translation of the book was published by the strongest scientific publishing house in Croatia, School Books.
