On Thursday, January 7, Preparatory School students, members of the Club of Social Aid and Solidarity, accompanied with their teachers, visited the Pediatric Clinic in Sarajevo and they did not show up empty-handed.
They brought gift packages collected and made at the University. The students have been collecting different items during a fundraising activity held in the premises of the International BURCH
University under the slogan Do you want to make children happy?, and they sure did. For two weeks, they have been collecting sweets, toys, notebooks, pens, pencils, and money, and used that to make packages which made over 30 children happy and put a smile on their faces.
The students showed their generosity, kindheartedness, and community spirit by organizing, supporting, and participating in this activity, and proved that charity has no borders.
On behalf of the staff and patients in the Clinic, the Head of the Clinic gave the students and the staff of the International BURCH University a letter of thanks, expressing their gratitude and appreciation.
