Kickboxer Minela Selman Won Silver Medal at European Championship

European Kickboxing Championship was held from 12th until 14th of February in Karlovac. Among 1500 competitors from 21 world countries, student of BURCH University, Minela Selman, took second place in the discipline low kick for seniors.

Minela was stopped in the final match’s discipline low kick for seniors + 70 kg by 10 years older and more experienced Croatian representative.

Next challenging competition for Minela is Ilidža Open, where competitors from 7 countries will perform. The competition will be held on 27th of February and she will compete in seniors group – low kick discipline. This young and successful student plans to go to the National Championship afterwards as well as Balkan and International Competitions.

Minela Selman is a 19 years old student at the Department of Banking and Finance at BURCH University. She has been doing this sport for 11 years, and she is a member of Kickboxing Academy Ilidža. Minela has already won 50 medals: 39 golds, 5 silvers, and 6 bronze medals. She is a national champion in 6 different disciplines, she won at the National and Balkan Championships, took 3rd place at the World WAKO Championship Rimini 2014, and is also a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina  national team.
