Mirza Velić Will Play in The National Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Players gathering is scheduled for June 15th in Sarajevo.

Sead Muminović, the selector of U-20 Bosnia and Herzegovina for the national basketball team has announced the list of players on which he is counting on for the European basketball championship, which will be held in Greece from 12th till 24th of July this year.

KK BURCH playmaker, Mirza Velić is one of the players on the list.

Besides Mirza, players who are also on the list are: Ivo Garić, Milan Lužajić, Amar Balić, Nedim Đedović, Armin Topić, Ibrahim Durmo, Haris Čurevac, Sandro Gačić, Edin Atić, Rijad Smajlović, Imran Polutak, Markus Lončar, Kenan Karahodžić, Fahrudin Mangafić and Enis Memić.

Damir Hadžić was also on the invitation list but he was not able to respond because of the obligations in the USA. Also Đorđe Aleksić will not be able to play due to injury so the selector invited Garić and Topić.

Samir Lerić and Miran Pehar will be in the headquarters of the national team.

Mirza Velić was born in July 1996. He wore his first basketball shoes in KK Play Off, and after that he played for KK Igman. Today he is a student of second year of Management on BURCH university. He is currently playing as a playmaker for KK BURCH, the only university team in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
