BURCH University hosted a four-day training “Applied Statistics in Evaluation“, sponsored by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the project Monitoring And Evaluation Support Activity (MEASURE –BIH).
Training was given by Mrs. Emily Tanner-Smith, Ph.D., a Research Assistant Professor at the Peabody Research Institute and Department of Human and Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University. Her broad areas of expertise include the social epidemiology, prevention, and treatment of adolescent substance use. Tanner-Smith is a research methodologist with emphasis in systematic reviewing and meta-analysis, and she is currently Co-Editor for the Methods Coordinating Group of The Campbell Collaboration. Four-day educational program was given to 30-40 individuals from B&H, of various professional. Academic staff of IBU Faculty of Economics Assist. Prof. Dr. Zafer Konaklı, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nataša Tandir, Assist. Prof. Dr. Merdžana Obralić and senior teaching assistant Elvisa Buljubašić were among the participants.
