From April 18 to 22, representatives from the BURCH University, headed by the Dean, Professor Dr.Azamat Akbarov, Associate Professor Dr. Kenan Ešref Rašidagić, Assistant Professor Dr. Senad Bećirović, and teaching assistant Eldin Milak, participated in the Erasmus + sponsored conference on the Internationalization of Higher Education: Challenges and Rewards organized by the 1 Decembrie 1918 University of Alba Iulia, Romania. BURCH representatives were warmly welcomed by staff and students at the University.
Professor Dr. Akbarov was among of the three distinguished plenary speakers and delivered his speech on the topic Erasmus+ International: Higher Education Cooperation in the World». The conference addressed the challenges faced by the globalizing culture and education nowadays. The main aim was to find better ways to manage institutional processes and communication in relation to internationalization, and to enhance the communication component of the internationalization strategy through promoting mobility programs, university programs, facilities, opportunities and internationalization aspects.
The main aim of the Erasmus+ teaching and training exchange was to establish ties between partner universities, and set the ground for future exchange and cooperation. In the course of the two days BURCH representatives presented and participated at all the roundtables and lectures and created valuable ties necessary for future projects and activities. Faculty of Education will continue Erasmus+ exchange series whose main aim is to increase student and staff mobility between partner universities.
