Business Development Club (BDC) of the International Burch University was a host for a workshop ''Work system and organization of inspection services' and consumers' contribution to more efficient market quality control“jointly organized by Consumer Association from Canton Tuzla „Klub potrošača“and Federal and Sarajevo Canton Directorates for Inspection Services, and held on 12th of November in the Burch University premises.
The presentation was officially opened with the speech of Ejub Hadžić, President of BDC, and Edin Smajić, BDC advisor. First introduced speaker was Gordana Bulić, President of Consumer Association from Canton Tuzla „Klub potrošača“, who moderated the workshop and gave insight into upcoming presentatons and speakers.
Heni Erduan Ćesir, Head of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Canton Sarajevo held a presentation underlining that one of the most important issues in preventing expansion of „grey economy“ is requesting fiscal invoice in every occassion.
Later Anis Ajdinović and Džemo Ćar from the Federal Directorate for Inspection Affairs held their presentations offering information regarding difficulties in legal framework of the inspections functioning and real problems in their work.
Indira Eminović, Market Inspector with 20 years of work in this sector talked about divisions in inspection services and current situation in Canton Sarajevo.
Last speaker was Hakija Porobrić, Head of Consumer Association in Sarajevo, who offered to share his experience with both, field representatives and young audience.
Students were very interested in topic, so they used their opportunity to ask questions and create an interesting interaction with inspection affairs and consumer representatives.
At the end guests were awarded with the Appreciation Letter from the Dean of Faculty of Economics and Social Studies, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Teoman Duman.
