Programs of Study
Undergraduate Program
Curriculum of the first cycle architecture is realized in the course of three years and carries 180 ECTS credits. Program provides professional education of students which is directly associated with the methods of the curriculum, mandatory and optional professional program during the undergraduate study. As a basis for developing a comprehensive approach to architectural design, undergraduate program provides basic knowledge about design, visualization, technology, urbanism, history and theory of architecture, science, etc.

Architectural Design

2-year (3+2) with Thesis
In studying for the Master’s in Architectural Design, you will deepen the competences you acquired in the Bachelor’s program and will build on them in a personalized specialization from the department’s subject palette. Master program in architectural design at IBU is both meticulous and imaginative. Construction managers play a crucial role in the development of built environment and infrastructure by ensuring efficient and timely implementation of construction projects. Much like a specialized graduate-level degree in project management, construction management degrees are built around the ability to manage teams as well as quantitatively assess construction-centered work sites. 1-year (4+1) with Thesis
Interior design is one of the world’s fastest growing professions. The suggested study track of masters program in interior design will offer specialized courses in the field, aiming to give students professional design and technical skills in areas of space planning, furniture design, and interior design. Program will insist on students involvement in real ongoing projects, participation in all design phases, and close cooperation with professionals from practice. MOREPhD Program
An upgrade of the first and second cycle studies provided a program of the third cycle studies - doctoral (PhD) studies which takes three years and carries 180 ECTS credits. Doctoral study is a unique combination of expertise, with an analytical understanding of historical and modern key phase in the history of architecture. The most important requirement of the doctoral program is clearly defined doctoral theses, specific research methods, solving ability and a successful result will be a professional and scientific contribution. Doctoral study is a contribution to the technological, social and cultural progress society based on knowledge.
After the completion of the PhD Program, student will gain title - Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture.

Before you start your internship, you have to download the acceptance form from below and have your internship supervisor in the company fill it out. Then the internship coordinator (Assist. Prof. Dr. Dino Kečo), has to approve it.

Senior Design Project
All students who want to defend their SDP 28.6.2019 have to submit their SDP until 24.6.2019 to prof. Samed Jukic (Office 426). Prior to that, their SDP should be approved by their mentor. The document does not have to be printed in color and the spiral binding is sufficient. It is necessary for students to fill out and bring the Jury Report document to their defense.
NOTE: Dear student, please be aware of all deadlines. Any kind of delays will not be taken into consideration.

In this document you will find topics proposed for your Senior Design Project. Every mentor proposed five topics from which you should pick one that suits you best. If you have other ideas on your mind you can go to respective mentor and propose idea. If idea is suitable you can work on it for your SDP project. After you agree on topics with your mentor you should fill two forms.
