Federal Ministry of Education and Science organized round table entitled ``Bologna Process in the Federation of BiH – Current Status and Perspectives`` in Mostar on 29th of April. IBU Rector, Prof. Dr. Huseyin Padem headed delegation consisted of professor Azamat Akbarov, Teoman Duman, Meliha Handzic and Esad Oruc. The aim of the round table was to define status of the Bologna Process implementation at universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
There were three keynote speakers; Prof. Dr. Srebren Dizdar presented his work on current status of Bologna process implementation in the country. Dr. Terence Clifford have talked about status and tendencies of the Bologna process implementation in EU member states and aspirant countries and finally Prof. Dr. Mirsad Donlagic referred on the road map for accession of B&H to European activities.
As a conclusion participants decided that institutions in Bosnia needs to get activate and stimulate reforms of the higher education in order to enter the European academic higher education community. Current progress evaluated as unsatisfactory will be discussed at one of the conferences in a row organized by Federal Ministry of Education and Science.
