Jointly organized by International Burch University and Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center “An owerviev of Divan poetry from Bosnia” entitled panel was held on 17th May 2011 in IBU conference room. Firstly, Prof. Dr. Cemal Kurnaz from Gazi University opened the panel addressing to respected protocol, dear guests and students.
Participants of the panel were eminent academicians: Prof. Dr. Ali Fuat Bilkin, Head of Yunus Emre Foundation, Prof. Dr. Yasar Aydemir, Prof. Dr. Fehim Nametak, Assist. Prof. Dr. Halil Celtik, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alena Catovic, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Huseyin Gonel from respected universities from Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The papers presented at the panel, were published in the book “An owerviev of Divan poetry from Bosnia”. The book was prepared bilingual, in Turkish and Bosnian language, so that contribution of International Burch University by publishing it is efficient and convinient for the researchers from both contries Divan poetry is appreciated.
Prof. Dr. Kurnaz in his opening speech emphasized that for Divan poetry Bosnia is, after Istanbul, Edirne and Bursa, fourth place center of efficiency and respectability that raised 100 of poets, and he thanked to organizers who brought together researchers and gave opportunity to exchange ideas and present it to new generations.
