Assist. Prof. Dr. Erkan Ilgün professor of Department of Economics and PhD student Rasim Tulum from International Burch Universitty were present at World Entrepreneurship Day Conference in Tuzla, held on the 13th of April, where the presentation of 4th GEM 2011 report (Global Entrepreneurship Report) for Bosnia and Herzegovina took place.
GEM is the biggest academic (non-profitable) research project about entrepreneurship in the world. They create high quality international research data on entrepreneurship activities and make them available for researchers.
GEM research in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been carried since 2008 by the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Development from Tuzla, in partnership with Tuzla University. The topic of the report for 2011 was „GEM BiH 2011: Develop and Strengthen Entrepreneurial Spirit in Bosnia and Herzegovina“.
