Scientific work of our students Ammar Talić and Slađan Veselinović in cooperation with Yagmur Kirikagac entitled "Application of Short Range Ultrasonic Wireless Communication to the Smart Plug" was awarded.
On 20th of December 2014, eight year in a row were awarded "Prof. Dr. Ilija Stojanović " awards by Telenor Fundation, which chose the best students from the Department of Telecommunications, authors of the best scientific papers of the conference TELFOR 2014 and author of the best professional paper published in an international journal. Among others scientific work of our students Ammar Talić and Slađan Veselinović in cooperation with Yagmur Kirikagac entitled "Application of Short Range Ultrasonic Wireless Communication to the Smart Plug" presented at TELFOR 2014 was awarded.
Honors for success were handed by Rade Hajder, Director of Technology at Telenor Bank within the ceremony marking the days of Electrical Engineering Faculty in Belgrade.
"This award is another motivation and incentive for further work and training. The award "Prof. Dr. Ilija Stojanović "was established by the Telenor Foundation in 2007 in memory of academician Prof. Dr. Ilija Stojanović, who has contributed greatly to the development of Telenor. He was a pioneer of modern telecommunications in the former SFRY and present Serbia and founder of the Telecommunications Department at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade. Professor Stojanović was a teacher to nearly all generations of today's experienced telecommunications engineers who are the leaders in the industry in Serbia.
