The Federation of Balkan American Associations (FEBA) held its first summer school on religion and sociology at BURCH University in Sarajevo.
The summer school was held during June and July of this year. The school itself provided a comprehensive five week long course on sociology and religion, and it took a close look at some of the most intriguing questions in these fields from several different perspectives.
Participants were mostly from the United States of America, and had never visited Bosnia and Herzegovina before. Alperen Tas, one of the participants, told us that he was amazed by the historical sites of this country.
Athe the beginning of the summer school we visited several cities in Bosnia. Those were Jajce, Travnik, Mostar, etc. It totally blew up our expectations, and we were amazed what we had seen there”, said Tas.
