During the period of the 16th through the 21st of October, 2016, Students from BURCH University, Department of International Relations and European Studies, participated in a week-long “Youth and Security” School, organized by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina
“Youth and Security” School took place in Banja Luka, Sarajevo, and Konjic. More than 37 students, from eight universities across the country, visited a number of sites of significance to the security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska, and other attractions, such as the Bunker D-0, famously known as Tito's Bunker, in Konjic.
The participants had an opportunity to listen to the lectures from leading security experts in the country, as well as participate in discussions with other students and experts from the field.
Haris Kalač and Amer Kurtović represented BURCH University, one of the two private universities invited, whose students partook in this organized school.
