Third national EYP session was organized in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Sarajevo during last week, and theme was „Solidarity beyond borders“. This event gathered over 100 contestants from whole Europe
Like previous years, activities were realized through simulation of work of the European Youth Parliament. Young attendees were divided into nine committees, where everyone had opportunity to present/elaborate their views, and to offer solutions of current political and social happenings in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in wider region. B&H Parliamentary Assembly on Sunday, 9th April 2017, was a place where debating reached very high intensity as well as presenting of resolutions prepared by hard working delegates. Success of this interesting five-day event was achieved with huge support of BURCH University whose facilities were utilized throughout whole time of this gathering.
European Youth Parliament - EYP is nongovernmental organization and one of the largest platforms for political debating in Europe. Goal of this organization is to politically educate youngsters and to spread multicultural understanding and solidarity. EYP network is currently present in 40 European countries, and for time being, could involve over 40 000 young people. EYP is present in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2013, status of National Committee was acquired two years after, where several very successful projects were organized and accomplished right after it.
