In April, 2017, delegation from IMC University of Applied Sciences (IMC FH Krems) visited International Burch University (IBU) to discuss future cooperation opportunities.
Mr. Jens Peter Ennen (MSc) and Mdm. Andrea Stopajnik (MA) visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, and International Burch University on the invitation of Assist. Prof. Dr. Sanela Klarić, the Vice Rector of International Relations and Scientific Cooperation. The aim of this visit was to discuss cooperation opportunities between IMC FH Krems and Burch University. This included the initiation of a joint program in the field of Tourism and Leisure Management, a new programme that will be introduced at Burch University, and joint opportunities in terms of Burch University’s English preparatory school.
The representatives attended two different meetings. One meeting was held by the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, where the Dean and respected professors from the faculty were present. Here was discussed the establishment of a joint program in Tourism and Leisure Management. Details such as curriculum, costs and professor integration were conversed.
The second meeting focused on the English preparatory school, whereby discussion pertained towards IMC FH Krems and IBU collaborating in terms of enrolling students into the school for English language preparation.
Currently, IMC FH Krems and IBU are discussing the details of the contract and deciding the programs that will be involved in the joint project from 2018. IBU is very thrilled and excited to cooperate with IMC FH Krems, and we hope for a very fruitful collaboration.
