Lecture about data Base on Public Spending in B&H at BURCH University

On the 23rd of March the project and grant Manager of Foundation ‘Centre for Public Interest’ (CPI), Mrs. Mirjana Sirćo, held a presentation of the unique data base of public finance on all levels of governance in B&H.

For the last 15 years, Mrs. Sirćo is very active in non-governmental sector monitoring the activities of government from local to state level, developing the mechanisms of cooperation between NGO’s and government institutions, promoting alternative public policies with the aim of improving the quality of life of our citizens.

This base is result of long term and hard work since the foundation of CPI in 2009. The Base was firstly introduced to the public in 2015 and has included data since 2005. This lecture had an aim to present the base to the students and academicians who can use the available information in their research and scientific work.

This lecture represents a first step in future cooperation of CPI and International Burch University. Another form of cooperation is that Foundation CPI offers internship to our students starting from April 2017.

Next lecture on Public Finance is planned for Master and 3rd year students on 25th of April at 16.00. We invite all interested students to attend this event.
