BURCH employee won Fulbright scholarship

International Burch University and Department of English Language and Literature are proud to announce that Teaching Assistant Ana Tankosic is this year’s winner of prestigious and world-famous Fulbright scholarship.

She will spend the next academic year at Pennsylvania State University known as one of the best universities in the US and the world, where she will continue her research of linguistic landscapes which she began in Sarajevo.

Fulbright is a scholarship awarded by the US government in education. The program was designed by US Senator James William Fulbright with an aim to connect the United States with other countries of the world. This annual scholarship is awarded to around 8,000 postgraduate students, as well as professors from 160 countries. The Fulbright scholarship grantees are highly respected academic citizens, politicians, as well as frequent Nobel and Pulitzer prize winners.

We congratulate Ana and wish her nothing but success in her future academic work.
