Visiting professor Mohamed Ibnkahla held a seminar for students of electrical engineering on the topic „Context-aware and the personalized Internet of Things”.
The speech addressed these challenges and was focused mainly on context-aware and user-centric design of IoT systems. Professor Ibnkahla explained how context awareness is important in order to enhance user experience and optimize IoT resources as well as to enable scalability and ensure system security.
Throughout the speech, he presented the state-of-the-art strategies for building context-aware and user-centric IoT architectures that are sustainable and capable of self-organization and reconfiguration. He mainly discussed machine learning and artificial intelligence tools as enablers for environmental awareness.
