An exhibition titled "Deceptive Communication and Space - Illusion or Reality", opened at the International BURCH University, organized by the Department of Architecture. It is a visual communication of the results and findings gained during the research through the activities of the project "Culture and Technology for Sustainable Development" . The project was implemented in cooperation with the University of Zagreb.
It was financed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aim of the research is to recognize the need to review the system of cultural values and culture and technology as coherent systems, in accordance with the EU's sustainable development strategy.
The project analyzes complex processes of global flows, especially in line with recent demographic changes and cultural transformations in the region and Europe. Furthermore, access to this issue from a multidisciplinary perspective, considering current social issues such as how technology can offer solutions for intercultural and cross-cultural dialogue, but also how these issues are physically reflected on space.
The overall goal of the project is to explore coexisting models of culture and technology in which they will progress together to achieve balance and maximize their potential.
