Master Class on Methodology Held by Professors From the Netherlands

Master students had the opportunity to listen to a lecture on the research methodology of guest professors, that they will most likely use in writing master thesis and scientific research papers.


On the 13th and 14th of November, guest professors from the International Institute of Social Studies in Den Haag, the Netherlands, held a master class on methodology for IBU's master and phd students.

Professor Dubravka Žarkov and Professor Nahda Shehada were visiting IBU under the Erasmus + mobility program.

Dubravka Žarkov is Associate Professor in Gender, Conflict and Development at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam with vast number of publications, teaching experience and international recognition for her work.

Nahda Sheada is a Senior lecturer in Gender, culture & development. Her lectures focus on Advanced sociology, Feminist Theories, Islam in contemporary debates, methodology courses. Her work has been recognized through different research grants and appreciations she was awarded with.

During the workshop held by our valuable guests, IBU students had the opportunity to learn about the development of  scientific research from the very beginning, which will greatly help them in the further course of their studies.
