Burch Student Clubs are an association of students within the University who aim to give students the opportunity to transform their ideas into successful projects and thus help them acquire new knowledge that will benefit them during their studies and later through work engagement.
Club Day was held today at Burch International University - a one-day event aimed at promoting existing and new Burch University student clubs.
This year's Club Day brought together representatives of twenty clubs, and innovative students from different faculties had the opportunity to present their ideas through the clubs and enroll the first members on their lists.
Representatives of old clubs also presented what they have done so far, motivated new students with their experience and gave them the opportunity to enroll as new members. The number of students today who have shown interest in participating in various extracurricular activities is greater than 500!
Formed clubs cover a variety of fields such as technology, innovation, biological research, engineering, diplomacy, management, as well as the humanities and sports.
The clubs that presented today are: ACM (Association for computer and mechanics), Business Development Club, Biomedical Research Club, Civil Engineering Club, Climate Change, Diplomacy Club, Embedded system and Design Club, GCE (Global Campaign for education), Genetics Club, Microbiology Club, iNature, Linguistics Club, Makerspace, Music Club, Oikos, PixelCrew, SAFE, Burch Dance Academy, Burch Football Club, Student Ambassador Program, T-Club.
"Makerspace is a club that will empower students from all faculties to create innovation in their fields by using the equipment and space at Burch International University," Makerspace club representatives said.
Burch International University is the first university in the region to be recognized as an entrepreneurial university that, through this type of extracurricular activity, provides students with an opportunity for their personal development as well as the development of ideas that serve as solutions to current social problems. The student ideas at Burch University's StartUp incubator have full mentoring support, which gives a huge advantage to the initiators of ideas.
The clubs will organize their first meetings in the coming period and create an activity plan for the current academic year. More information about the club's activities you can find on the website, social networks of the University and Burch Startup incubators!
