With the goal of empowering digital communications in BiH, agency Lilium Ltd. and the Faculty of Education and Humanities of International Burch University (IBU) have signed a cooperation agreement that would enable the exchange of information and experiences through mutual scientific, research and professional activities.
The new Department of Digital Communications and Public Relations at the International Burch University will begin its mission in October, with the next academic year ( 2019/20).The main objective of the program is enabling students to become experts in the field of Digital Communications and Public Relations. The first step in the process is establishing close cooperation with experts who will, with their expertise and experience, contribute to accomplishing the set objectives. Thus, the Faculty of Education and Humanities decided to choose Lilium Ltd., the leading agency in the field of digital communications in BiH, as the main partner.
It was agreed that the most important segments of the cooperation should be realized through the exchange of teaching, research and professional staff, as well as professional, scientific literature, journals, and other materials, which would be accessible to all students of the new Department. In addition, students at the Department of Digital Communications and Public Relations will be given the opportunity to gain first-hand professional experience within the Lilium Agency.
“The agreed cooperation is an excellent opportunity for Lilium to identify and support talented students, providing them with practical training and experience which can be beneficial both for Lilium Ltd. and the students,” said Eldin Halilović, the agency’s representative.
International Burch University is the first entrepreneurial university in Bosnia and Herzegovina that encourages networking and cooperation with companies. “Through scientific research and practical classes, students will be given the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills they need in order to become distinguished professionals in the field of digital communications and public relations. To achieve that aim, connecting and working with companies and providing practical experiences in such institutions is crucial,” said Prof. Dr. Senad Bećirović, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Humanities of IBU, emphasizing that the faculty’s educational program matches the needs of the modern economy, society, and students.
