In full Conference Hall at International Burch University, students of IBU, Richmond Park International School and other guests were given a lecture by Prof. dr. Mirsad Hadzikadic who said that changes in society come from us, giving examples of famous people from the past including Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali and many others.
The Department of International Relations and European Studies of International Burch University organized a lecture by Prof. dr. Mirsad Hadzikadic, a president of the Platform for Progress and former candidate for the BiH Presidency, on the topic of Civil Rights and Freedoms for its students and the general public.
Prof. dr. Hadžikadić devoted special attention to the role of young people in the process of creating a better future. He emphasized that youth is the strongest social group and the one that has the strength for positive changes, focusing on student protests throughout Former Yugoslavia in 1968.
"The changes are coming, whether we want it or not," he emphasized, inviting young people, especially students, to work for a better future from the self-interest if not for other reasons. "If you want to be selfish become it by helping others ultimately for your own interest, " said Prof. dr. Hadžikadić.
International Burch University and the Department of International Relations and European Studies continue to bring eminent public figures and thus provide more teaching content to students and inform them about current social phenomena.
