The exhibition was dedicated to the marking of 80 years of presence of Takvim*. Students have attended a presentation about the historical development path of Takvim, since early 1930s until today; after which they have been given a chance to have a closer look to the astronomical and other types of instruments used for creating a calendar of performing religious duties, as well as to see almost all editions of this publication published by now.
Following the exhibition, students from 3rd year of English Language and Literature visited Gazi-Husrev Bey Madrasah where they met with its students. In addition to presenting English Language and Literature Department, as a choice that opens many doors in their further professional life, students thanked for hospitality to their hosts and invited them to return visit to Burch University.
*Takvim is religious calendar and joint paper collection, written by many authors well-known in cultural, political, and other spheres of life.
