-Cities, People and Architecture-
The IBU Architecture Department is calling on ambitious individuals – high school and university students from across the region to participate in the photo competition with the topic “Cities, People and Architecture”.
Participants are asked for a creative response to the topic “Cities, People and Architecture”. The subject matter must have an architectural theme or must contain some elements of the built environment (door, window, chair, street, public square,…). Location of images is unrestricted. Interior or exterior photos that best capture the character of a building or place/space can be entered in the competition.
Each entry must be supported by a statement – photo caption which will best explain the captured scene. This is a great way to tell your idea and give an insight into how you came about the shot.
You have total creative freedom. You can enter images straight out of camera, or edit as much as you like and even create collages and compositions.
To enter, you must send your photos (jpeg format) to [email protected], or upload them and tag #IBUarcphoto.
Entries close midnight April 30, 2019
Entries must be submitted in digital JPEG format.
IBU.ARC photo competition entries will be judged by IBU staff members, architects and photographers. The competition is open to ambitious high school and university students – with an interest in architecture and a passion for photography.
Photo entries will be judged based on creativity, quality and originality of photography. The jury is particularly looking for an inspiring story that is clearly recognizable in the images.
Entries must have been taken and owned by the participant.
