Within the Erasmus + program, a professor from the Department of Information Technologies prof. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nejdet Dogru participated in an exchange program at the University of Valladolid in Spain.
A four-day international program included presentations, panel discussions, networking, and tours of campuses and cities. After the warm welcome, in the introductory part of the program, the participants joined the workshop on international cooperation and development of Erasmus + KA 107, where numerous projects were presented.
The second and third day of the program was focused on presentations by four universities that deal with certain aspects of the internationalization of their universities.
The four-day visit ended with a workshop on the internship program. The workshop included a roundtable with 8 participants, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dogru, who answered the questions on internationalization with a detailed explanation of how these issues are accessed or implemented at their universities.
“I took this unique opportunity and attended all the activities, presented our University in the best way possible and got in touch with several participants. Some of them gladly agreed to cooperate and create a stronger connection between universities. I also spoke with the head of the Information Technology Department at Valladolid University about student exchange opportunities and participation in writing proposals for a capacity-building project, which I think is very important for IBU projects, ” said professor Dogru.
A visit to Spain was another great opportunity for IBU to present all its capacities, and to make numerous acquaintances that are an introduction to creating cooperation with new partners. We are proud that the University of Valladolid has officially become our 26th partner within the Erasmus+ program.
