In the first week of July, 14 staff members from IBU visited "1 Decembrie 1918“ University of Alba Iulia in Romania. During their training, they attended workshop on topic: ‘’Internationalisation at home and abroad: UAB's strategic vision’’ by Head of the Erasmus Office, and Scientific Research Workshop which was divided into multiple parts. Furthermore, they also attended presentations by different universities, had international dinners with Alba Iulia University staff and other Erasmus exchange staff, and took part in interactive session on International Financing Opportunities for HEIs. This visit made the partnership stronger, and it offered new perspectives on scientific research and entrepreneurship, as well as new perspectives for mentorship, and Research Methods courses at both MBA and PhD level. Moreover, the staff got better understanding on different topics discussed with other institutions, stronger research knowledge and expanded their networks.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alija Kožljak and rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak visited OTH Regensburg in Germany. During their stay, they presented IBU and the Department of International Relations and European Studies to the staff at OTH Regensburg. They also used this opportunity to attend multiple meetings with university staff, such as Prof. Thomas Liebentruth - Dean of Business Studies, Dr. Wilhelm Bomke – Head of the IO, Prof. Oliver Steffens – VP for International Affairs of OTH, Prof. Shroll – Decker from Social Work and Prof. Dr. Ingo Striepling from Faculty of Business Administration. They all showed great interest in further cooperation, as well as expansion of cooperation between IBU and OTH Regensburg.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Elma Dedović – Attila, Teaching Assistant Merima Ibranović – Salihović from DCPR and Nizama Spahić went to Metropolitan University in Prague, the Czech Republic as part of their Erasmus+ mobility. Throughout their stay, they met with International Office member Jana Barowska and Research Center representatives with whom they discussed MUP and IBU practices regarding the research potential, and MUP and IBU units offering language courses. Additionally, they took part in cultural sightseeing in the city of Prague. This visit was beneficial because it provided them with insights about Media Studies Department at MUP and practices that could be implemented at IBU, and expanded research knowledge, network, and cultural horizons.
