Call for student mobility to Nurtingen, Germany - IMLA program

IBU InFocus

The International Master's programme of Landscape Architecture (IMLA) is a cooperation between two well-known universities in Germany since 2001: HfWU - Nürtingen-Geislingen University (near Stuttgart) and HSWT - Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (near Munich). The HfWU thus supports one of the main social concerns with its research and teaching competence. The mission was formulated by the Sustainable Development Working Group together with the Rectorate and the University Council. The working group drew up a materiality analysis of the university and formulated the strategic goals of the university on this basis.Despite impressive growth in the number of students in recent years, the HfWU has remained a university in dialogue, an individual university with two locations and a strong "business and environment" profile. This profile has developed from the history of the university and is more relevant today than ever. With its self-image of sustainable development, strengthened by the integration of the Nürtingen University of Art Therapy in 2016, the university is on the way to becoming a model university for sustainable development.
