On Friday, 17 February 2023, The Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ANUBiH) hosted a Summit for young researchers in technical sciences, which saw the participation of twenty young researchers from various universities. Among them was former International Burch University Ph.D. student and a current Assist Prof, Mehrija Hasičić, who presented her groundbreaking research on "Micromagnetic modelling of the effect of mechanical stress on the magnetisation process."
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Aphrodite Ktena from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Assist Prof Mehrija's research was a remarkable display of skill and expertise, which earned her first place at the Summit. Her presentation was a shining example of the innovative ideas and collaborative spirit that the Summit aimed to foster.
Mehrija's success is a testament to her perseverance and dedication to her research, as well as the support and guidance provided by her mentors. Her findings have the potential to improve the field of technical sciences and pave the way for new breakthroughs in the future.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mehrija for her outstanding achievement at the ANUBiH Young Researchers' Summit in Technical Sciences. Her success is an inspiration for young scientists everywhere to pursue their dreams and strive for excellence in their research. We are proud to have had Mehrija as a former Ph.D. student and a current Assistant Professor and look forward to seeing her make further strides in her field. See less
