On 1 March, 2023, the Rector of the International Burch University (IBU), Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak, attended a reception hosted by the Presidency members of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the City Hall in Sarajevo. The event was held in celebration of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence Day, which is observed on 1 March.
The reception was attended by a range of guests, including government officials, diplomats, business leaders, and academic representatives. During the event, the Presidency members spoke about the importance of Independence Day and the ongoing efforts to promote unity and progress in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As a representative of IBU, Prof. Dr. Poturak had the opportunity to meet with members of the Presidency and other distinguished guests, discussing the role of IBU in promoting academic excellence and contributing to the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event provided an excellent opportunity for IBU to strengthen its connections with key stakeholders in the country, and to reaffirm its commitment to advancing the academic, social, and economic prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
