Orientation Day for a new generation of students starting the academic year 2022/23 was held today at International Burch University. The rector of the university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak opened a special welcome program for students.
„Regardless of your career goals, International Burch University is here to inspire, support, and connect you with others. Today, you have joined the Burch family, and we are delighted to welcome you to our community," the rector stated.
Again, a record number of students enrolled in IBU, so the hall was filled to capacity. The Student Talent Manager Mr. Admir Salihagić addressed the new students, outlining all of the opportunities available at International Burch University.
International Burch University is a place where we educate hearts and mind. We encourage our students to not only overcome obstacles and develop critical thinking skills, but also to cultivate deep emotional intelligence, empathy, compassion, altruism, and kindness. During Orientation Day, it was stated that managing your intelligence and emotions is essential for reaching your full potential.
Following the official program, freshmen were able to enjoy some refreshments and relax with our current students, as well as ask them additional questions and make new friendships. Additionally, each department has prepared its own new student orientation program.
