IBU InFocus

Orientation Day was held yesterday at International Burch University for a new generation of MBA students at the IBU Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nataša Tandir, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, greeted and welcomed students.

Students of the MBA program were then addressed by the Head of the Department of Management Assist. Prof. Dr. Ensar Mekić, as well as professors from the Department of Management Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adisa Arapović, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sanel Halilbegović, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ermin Cero and Assist. Prof. Dr. Malcolm Duerod.

As with every academic year, there has been a lot of interest in the MBA program at International Burch University. Students enrolled this year have extensive work experience in a variety of business sectors.

This generation will be able to attend lectures in a newly equipped computer lab (financially supported by the EU through two KA2 Capacity Building projects, SUCCESS, and KALCEA), which will be especially useful for many courses that require the use of various software packages.

Also, it is important to emphasize the course Applied Entrepreneurship, which will be based on CESIM simulation software and will allow students to simulate their own businesses.
We wish them a successful and productive MBA program, and we believe that the MBA program will be a "step up" in their careers.
