Samuel Zenelaj, a student in the Department of Architecture, has been playing chess for many years and has achieved excellent results. His most recent success came at the 29th Senior Team Championship of the Chess Federation of FBiH in Bihać, where he won the FIDE Master title with 6 wins and 3 draws, surpassing the 2300 ELO limit with a rating of 2315 ELO.
"Samuel became the 38th player in BiH to hold this title. As a result, he will be ranked 20th on BiH's September 2022 rating list, putting him at the very top of Bosnia and Herzegovina chess" Sulejman Mulić, a long-time chess player from Konjic, made this announcement on his Facebook page.
Samuel is a member of the Igman Konjic Chess Club as well as the IBU Chess Club.
