On February 7, 2023, rector Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak with associates visited the University of Bihać to discuss past, present, and future cooperation between our two universities.
They assessed previous collaborations as excellent and existing ones as very fruitful, including in the context of the EU-funded INSTREAM project that aims to introduce student research mobilities to BiH universities but also discussed ongoing opportunities for project-based cooperation.
Furthermore, they spoke about the Project Development Facility, funded by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina and implemented with FH Burgenland. This project aims to strengthen the capacities of academic staff at higher education institutions to develop EU research projects, such as COST, Eureka, and Horizon Europe. In addition, they spoke about further opportunities for collaboration.
