Rector of IBU and professor Senad Bećirović attend the promotion of PhDs of Joint Doctoral Studies in Austria

Rector of International Burch University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Mersid Poturak and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Senad Bećirović, professor at the Faculty of Education and Humanities, attended the promotion of PhDs in Joint Doctoral Studies in Austria last weekend. This doctoral promotion has brought together representatives from the ten universities involved in two Joint Doctoral Studies. These International Cooperative Cross-Border Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programmes include universities from Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

International Burch University is proud to be part of a consortium with top European universities. Professors from International Burch University have mentored three of the 15 doctoral candidates. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Senad Bećirović mentored two candidates and the third candidate was mentored jointly by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vildana Dubravac and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Senad Bećirović. The promotion took place in Castle Esterhazy, Austria.

This doctoral study programme is a three-year, part-time research programme jointly offered by university institutions internationally known for their academic excellence and holders of the prestigious accreditation: University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, University of Ljubljana, International Burch University, Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, University of Sopron, the University of Economics in Bratislava, Chech University of Life Sciences Prague, University of Mostar, and University North.
