The Rector of International Burch University Prof.Dr. Mersid Poturak with associates visited the University of East Sarajevo and met with their Rector Prof. Dr. Milan Kulić along with the vice-rector for science, research, and development Prof. Dr. Jelena Krunić and the vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance Prof. Dr. Marko Gutalj.
They spoke at length about existing cooperation, including specifically through joint participation in various projects such as KALCEA, SUCCESS, and INSTREAM, and discussed opportunities for future collaboration, both project-based and otherwise.
Furthermore, they discussed the EU-funded Project Development Facility implemented by International Burch University and the University of Applied Sciences in Burgenland, which aims to strengthen the capacities of academic staff at higher education institutions to develop EU research projects, such as COST, Eureka, and Horizon Europe.
KALCEA aims to institutionally integrate education, research, and innovation in the knowledge triangle.
SUCCESS fosters university-enterprise cooperation by forming a partnership in the areas of education and knowledge transfer based on the market needs.
INSTREAM introduces student research mobilities between universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
