Students from IBU will attend an international conference in New York!

IBU InFocus

In the current academic year, the Department of International Relations and European Studies has introduced four Model United Nations courses (2 courses at undergraduate level and 2 courses at master level). One course at each study level refers to the regional model, while the other refers to the global model of simulating the functioning of the UN and its individual bodies.

Classes are held in collaboration with Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The exceptional combination of theoretical knowledge and practice in a real international environment is at the heart of the program.

As a final course activity, students in this course will have the opportunity to attend an international UN conference in New York in 2022. The conference is the culmination of the subject National Model United Nations, which has included extensive research, exercises, and practical work.
