Within Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education TACEESM (Transforming Architecture and Civil Engineering Education towards a Sustainable Model) project, that the Department of Architecture at IBU has been implementing in the past 18 months, first visit to Sarajevo was organized from Jun 7th to Jun 11th.
During the first day project members from Italy, Spain, Slovenia, and Armenia were welcomed by IBU top management, Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak, Dean of Faculty for Engineering and Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. Jasmin Kevrić, as well as Head of Department of Architecture, Assist. Prof. Dr. Adnan Novalić. University Rector thanked the partners for their support and collaboration and expressed interest for future joint endeavors. Additionally, Rector thanked the Department staff for their hard work and enthusiasm for the project, which has already made significant impact on everyday academic activities at the Department.
This was an opportunity for project partners to meet other team members from the Department of Architecture at IBU, but also colleagues from administration who are supporting project activities.
This visit was planned as a Dissemination Event, and was used to present project dissemination activities, as well as present the project to the public.
Members of the project also took advantage of this opportunity to visit and explore Sarajevo, and its architectural beauty and uniqueness.
