The IBU Rector signed the Book of Condolence for Queen Elizabeth at the British Embassy in Sarajevo

Rector of International Burch University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak, visited the British Embassy today and signed the Book of Condolence opened for Queen Elizabeth II. Rector was welcomed by H.E Julian Reilly, British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mersid Poturak expressed, on behalf of International Burch University, heartfelt condolences to members of the British Royal Family, the people of the United Kingdom, and the British Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. International Burch University a British-owned university shares its grief over the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and remembers Her Majesty's extraordinary life of public service during this time of national mourning.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II lived a remarkable life that inspired many people and continues to inspire with deep respect and affection. She will always be remembered as a great leader who was devoted to her people and respected by people all over the world.

A letter of condolences was sent to Ambassador Reilly on Friday, September 9. The flags at our university have been flown at half-mast as a sign of respect and mourning.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8th after more than 70 years on the throne. Books of condolences have been opened all over the world.
