Universita G. d’Annunzio Dipartimento di Architettura di Pescara, with the participation of the municipality of Pescara, hosted its second Summer School for Collaborative research from August 31 – September 10, 2016. Two hundred and eighty students as well as thirty-seven educators from Italy and abroad participated.
BURCH students were chosen to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina. They were part of Lab 3, where they analyzed and proposed an improvement for the area of the Montevecchio. The students completed and presented their work on September 10, 2016 in a form of an exhibition.
As part of the experience, BURCH team made an educational trip to Rome where students got a chance to some of the most significant buildings in the history of western architecture.
We are proud to announce that the work of last year’s BURCH students work have exhibited in Pescara and is part of the official summer school publication.
