International Burch University, through its Social Sciences Research Center, and with the University of Leon in Spain is implementing an EU-funded project “Universities in Support of EU Integrations, Goals, Policies, and Values - Unis4EU”.
In the context of limited progress by Bosnia and Herzegovina in the EU integration path, the Unis4EU project aims to empower the academic community to be able to meaningfully participate and support the EU integration process, whilst simultaneously fostering interuniversity cooperation and specialization. To do so, it takes a two-pronged approach: firstly, by supporting the introduction of EU-related course materials in university-level studies of both relevant and other, specialized study programmes and, secondly, by stimulating academic participation in all parts of the policymaking process, from agenda setting to policy monitoring.
This project receives funding from the European Union through its Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance. It is a part of a comprehensive program - Facilitating Cooperation in Higher Education - supporting the higher education sector with three other projects introducing student research mobilities, supporting universities in developing project proposals, and developing career management skills among students.
