The event was divided into two main parts. The first part explored the historical state of gender equality, identifying various challenges and barriers. The second part examined the current status of gender equality and drew possible conclusions on its progress and future.

The interactive format of the lecture encouraged students to actively participate in discussions and solution-building, fostering the sharing of experiences, perspectives, and ideas among participants. Topics such as the historical genesis and meaning of the conception of housewives, the roles of women and men in history, and the evolution of these roles over time were thoroughly discussed.

The event took place in the library of International Burch University "Prof. Dr. Ceylani Akay". This enriching workshop was organized as part of the UNIGEM project, implemented by the TPO Foundation from Sarajevo under the patronage of the British Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
