Laws & Regulations

Introduction

The Higher Education sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina is regulated on different legislative levels. The Framework Law on Higher Education of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH in 2007, stipulates core principles of higher education applicable in all administrative regions of the country, authorising cantonal (FBiH) and entity (RS) legislative powers to regulate all relevant issues in accordance with these principles.

Sarajevo Canton has its own Law on Higher Education that applies to universities established in Sarajevo Canton. Universities are called upon to adopt their internal regulations featuring the statute as the highest legal act of a higher education institution as well as other internal regulations based on the Law on Higher Education and statutory provisions. Please find below the most important laws and internal regulations applicable to the International Burch University.
