International Burch University proudly hosted GDG Sarajevo #119, one of the region’s leading technology community events, bringing together more than 160 developers, innovators, and technology enthusiasts for an evening dedicated to Google Cloud, artificial intelligence, hands-on learning, and real production environments.
The workshop transformed the university campus into a dynamic innovation hub, where every seat became a workstation and every attendee became a builder. Participants had the opportunity to activate Google Cloud accounts, work directly in live environments, and gain practical skills aligned with current industry needs.
The event was opened by Renka Žunić, while Assist. Prof. Dr. Engin Obučić welcomed participants on behalf of International Burch University. Distinguished speakers included Zlatko Alomerović, who explored the future of high-performing engineering teams in the age of AI, and Edis A., who addressed the human journey of artificial intelligence in education.
The workshop was organised by Google Developers Group Sarajevo, with Kemal Cholovich serving as organiser on behalf of GDG Sarajevo, together with the leadership and co-organising team of GDG Cloud Sarajevo:

With the standard now raised, the community looks ahead to Workshop #120 and DevFest Sarajevo, expected to deliver even greater impact for the region’s future tech landscape.
